Any gender is fine, just looking for a friend :). So i would rather recommend to stick to Neptunes Glaive. I typically do mountain on day 2, river day 3 for catfish and stuff, back to mountain day 4, those have some of the more profitable fish as well as easy ones to get perfectly (bullhead & shad are really easy but gives a lot of exp). Looking for someone my age (14-18) who is experienced in Stardew Valley cause I suck cheeks at it but wanna get better. Try casting at max as well there are some gems and stuff you can only get that way, not the glaive but hey free gems. Three or four perfect fish alone gets you to level 1. To level up faster try fishing as perfectly as you can, you get 2.4x exp. I've just always gotten it from fishing normally and getting lucky. The number of treasure chests you get (as well as the possibility of the glaive) is based on luck, the more chests you get the better your chances, pretty hard to get your hands on luck buff foods early on but it doesn't hurt to check the saloon I suppose. The soup is good for making fishing easier but that's it, I don't really spend my money on it since every penny counts in the beginning. Browse the subreddit without questions even as someone who fishes almost excessively early on in the game, every time i found it so far, i already moved long past that level in the mines where the sword would still be good. I was at like floor 20 at the time, but even still, what a massive upgrade it was. VOTE ON EXTENDING THE BLACKOUT INDEFINITELY: Close though was indeed the time that I got the early Neptune's Glaive. Announcing user flair and prestige flair!
